TRINITY'S MISSION STATEMENT
Trinity Transitional House is dedicated to coordinating homelessness prevention resources and intervention services for displaced women, single mothers, and children experiencing housing instability. Through its programs, the organization strengthens community resilience by connecting local and state resources to reinforce protective factors for women and children impacted by traumatic displacement. Since its founding in 2021, Trinity Transitional House has serves as a catalyst for community mobilization, delivering comprehensive prevention and intervention services to support at‑risk women and families.

HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION
We provide essential resources for homelessness prevention, including food, clothing, hygiene bags, feminine products, diapers, and wipes, and hotel vouchers (when funding is available) specifically for displaced women, single mothers, and children in Chester, Darby, and Delaware County, PA. At Trinity, our mission is to create impactful opportunities for displaced women and single mothers in need by offering access to vital resources. We empower individuals to build resilience, enhance their confidence, and realize their fullest potential.

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES & SOCIAL EMOTIONAL COMPETENCIES
Mental Health Trinity Transitional House utilizes evidence‑based interventions, including Processing Therapy, to help participants manage emotions, strengthen self‑regulation, and improve interpersonal relationships. This therapeutic approach has proven effective in addressing a wide range of traumatic experiences and is specifically designed to support women survivors of abuse coping with post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

PARENT EDUCATION, PARENT/PEER SUPPORT, & LIFE SKILLS COACHING SERVICE
Parent and peer mentoring support is recognized as a "positive reinforcement initiative" designed to equip parents with the tools needed to foster lasting changes for themselves and their children. Trinity’s parenting classes address a wide variety of topics, such as parenting skills, child development temperament, intellectual growth, communication, discipline, building self-esteem, instilling values, and meeting children's needs, among.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION
Domestic Violence Prevention Program The Domestic Violence Prevention Program seeks to reduce interpersonal violence by guiding participants through a transformative process that reshapes harmful patterns of thinking and behavior. By promoting strategies that encourage healthy, respectful, and non‑violent relationships, the program plays a vital role in advancing prevention efforts and strengthening community safety.
